Mansfield, TX: Cam-Tech Manufacturing, a division of PCX Aerostructures LLC, has successfully completed installation of a new state-of-the-art machining center allowing for expanded production of high quality, large format aircraft parts at their Texas facility.
The new T1 Makino 5-Axis machining center allows for added versatility and continued efficiencies, yielding innovative processing of hard alloy components for a variety of aerospace platforms. Boasting a capability envelope of 59” x 51” x 78,” the latest capital investment from PCX Aerostructures lends additional strength to their progressive range of capabilities.

As a leader in complex fabrications and precision machining, this latest addition supports the demanding requirements of the aerospace industry, allowing for enhanced accuracy, reduced cycle times and extensive automation features when machining large structures. The addition of this unique equipment aligns with PCX’s goal of continued growth and expansion to support the growing aerospace industry.
